How 2 Double Ur AdSense Income Instantly

As u probably already know, AdSense is revolutionizing the way mny infopreneurs r creating revenue frm their web site traffic. The reason 4 dis is its simplicity. Through AdSense, revenue is generated when someone simply clicks thru the AdSense ads displayed on the webmasters web site.

In dis article I want 2 give u a few simple ways 2 dramatically increase ur AdSense income.

The bot2m line:

2 increase AdSense income all u must do is increase the number of click thrus u receive.
Thr r two ways 4 u 2 increase ur 2tal number of click thrus. U can either increase ur website traffic or u can increase ur AdSense click thru rate. Now, getting more traffic would be great, bt let’s be honest increasing ur web site traffic is much easier said than done. So, let’s focus on increasing ur AdSense click thru rate instead.

4 Tips 2 Increase Click Thru:

Match ur AdSense 2 ur website:

U want ur AdSense ads 2 appear as seamless as possible. Ur goal is 2 match evry aspect of ur AdSense ads 2 the theme of ur website. What u want 2 do is remove the borders frm ur AdSense ads nd match the background color of the ad 2 ur website. Additionally, u want 2 match the color of the AdSense links 2 the rest of the links on ur website plus choose an ad 4mat dat makes the ads look seamless.

4 example, if ur web site has a white background nd the default color of ur hypertext links is blue u ll want 2 remove the border frm ur AdSense, make the background white, choose either a squr or a rectangle as ur ad 4mat instead of a skyscraper or banner, nd yep u guessed it… make the links blue.

Placement Matters:

Where u place ur AdSense ads is jst as important as how they look. Luckily, thr r only a few concepts dat u need 2 worry about in order 2 increase ur click through rate.
•The more white space around ur ads the better•The closer 2 the 2p of the page the better•The closer the left of the page the better

Follow these concepts nd I can assure u dat u ll see an increase in ur AdSense click thru rate. (It really is dat simply!)

Google Search:

Now dis is one dat I rrly see webmasters take advantage of. The Google AdSense program gives webmasters the ability 2 add a Google search box 2 thr web site.

Why should u use dis function?

Well, when a website visi2r chooses 2 use dis search box frm ur website ur AdSense ID ll be imbedded in ALL of dat visi2rs Google searches. If dat person does 1 search or 50 ur AdSense ID ll still be imbedded throughout process.

Why is dis so great?

If dat visi2r clicks on any of the sponsored listings while surfing frm ur web site guess who makes money. U! If they hit the back bt2n nd click on another ad guess who makes money? U! Dis is absolutely huge. Through dis function u now hv the ability 2 earn multiple click thrus frm the same visi2r on the site visit. Please don’t overlook how powerful dis is. Besides, most of ur website traffic ll jst be browsing anyway, so I why help them find what thr looking 4 nd make a little coin along the way?

Tracking:

Jst lyk any other type of marketing, u won’t know what’s working the best 4 u on ur web site unless u track the diff. things dat u’re experimenting wid. Set up a few Google AdSense channels 4 the diff. ads dat u’ll be placing on ur website. Then jst see which channels r working the best nd stick 2 those.

Dat’s it!

Follow the tips above nd I can assure u dat u ll absolutely double ur AdSense click thru rate nd ur AdSense income. The best part about the four tips I’ve shrd here is dat u can put them in2 action immediately nd see how they ll work on ur website right now. Who knows… u could be making twice as much by 2morrow by jst making a few simple tweaks here nd thr.

Is Multitasking Efficient?

Is it a smart strategy to work on several jobs at a time?

All of us multitask sometime or the other. Driving the car, speaking over the phone in between biting into your breakfast and listening to the ipod – this is a common scenario for most. And it gives us a high for being super efficient. But are we really saving on time?

When a computer multi-tasks, its Central Processing Unit or CPU switches from the current job and goes to the next job in the queue after putting the computing variables on a stack. When it does multiple jobs, computer’s memory resources are shared. Hence, with limited resources or a specially difficult computation, the CPU may be spending more time switching than doing the jobs efficiently, with the result the system “hangs” and the user feels the computer unresponsive.

It is important to remember the CPU does only one job at any specific time. It is only the extreme speed of the CPU, which takes only milliseconds to switch between the tasks, that gives the user the illusion of simultaneous execution of jobs.

Similarly, the human cerebral cortex can pay attention to only one thing at a time. Just like a computer, it allocates the mind’s resources and prioritizes between tasks. And just like a computer, people ignore the present job for shifting their attention to the next. If the next job is merely listening to a background music, they don’t realize the interruption, because they shift back to the job in quick succession.

Oxford Dictionary Adds 'Bloggable,' 'Sexting,' and More

Bloggable neologisms like "tbh" and "sexting" have apparently cyberbullied their way into an Oxford dictionary.

The Oxford Dictionary Online - the modern language counterpart to the traditional Oxford English Dictionary - has added Web 2.0 jargon such as "bloggable," "cyberbullying," "sexting," "tbh" ("to be honest"),"clickjacking," "scareware," "trackpad," and "fnarr fnarr" to its collection. Typical PCMag vocabulary.

But wait- fnarr fnarr? We had to look this one up. According to its OD entry, fnarr fnarr (pronounced fna fna) is British texting slang for sniggering, usually at a sexual innuendo.

Oxford provides the example: "That's some package! (Said the bishop to the actress, fnarr fnarr)." In America, we'd probably say something like, "That's some package! (That's what she said, LOL)."

Spokeswoman Gabby Fletcher told the The Telegraph, "The rapid development of technology creates multiple new products, services, and functionalities, which all need new terms to describe them. We are also seeing the very fast circulation of new vocabulary on a global basis, with the expansion of social media."

Updated quarterly, the Oxford Dictionary Online features a growing number of tech terms. In August it added "tweetup" (a meeting arranged through Twitter), microblogging (posting short blog entries), and paywall (requiring payment to access online content).

There are rumors that the 126-year-old Oxford English Dictionary is fully migrating online as well.

Smartphone competition heats up as HTC closes in on Appl

According to his business card, John Wang is a wizard. Chief innovation wizard to be precise. He certainly seems to be working his magic at HTC, the Taiwanese firm where he oversees new products at a company that is rapidly becoming one of the hottest brands in tech.

This week is set to be another Apple week – the second generation of the iPad is expected to be unveiled on Wednesday. But in the UK the biggest-selling launch is likely to be HTC's. The hyperbolically named HTC Incredible S is Wang's latest smartphone and has received glowing reviews so far in the tech press.

The new HTC Flyer tablet

Later this year HTC will launch its iPad rival, the Flyer. With tech firms churning out more tablets than ancient Mesopotamia, Wang says the Flyer will not be another "me-too" device. "Whatever we do has to be quietly brilliant," he says.

He says the Flyer was designed to weigh the same as the average paperback book (420 grammes), about half the weight of an iPad, and will be far smaller. And while it will be a touch-screen device, Wang says it won't be defined by touch – users will be able to draw and write notes on any part of the device. The aim, he says, is to produce something different, something that produces "moments of delight".

In order to get to these moments HTC has a "magic lab" where ideas are worked through. One idea from the lab is a technology that makes itssmartphones ring loudly in a bag or pocket, but softly when picked up.

Wang started the lab five years ago and its engineers work through ideas to make their devices as simple and user-friendly as possible. The Incredible S, for example, has buttons that change their orientation depending on which way the phone is held. "When people use the word innovation they are often referring to the 1.5ghz, the 4.4in display, megapixels," he says. "But it's often the details, not the specifications that make customers think 'that is so right'."

The strategy seems to be paying off. According to technology analysts Gartner, HTC sold 3m smartphones in the UK last year, compared with Apple's 5m. In the last quarter of the year HTC sold 1.1m, close to Apple's 1.4m. Overall, the company made a net profit of $500m (£310m) for the last quarter of 2010, a leap of 160% from 2009's final quarter. Sales surged 153% from a year ago.

The firm, formerly known as High Tech Corporation, started life in 1997 making notebook computers. It has been building a position in smartphones for years, but Gartner analyst Carolina Milanesi says the turning point for HTC was the launch of Google's Android mobile operating system in 2007. The success of Android and HTC's close co-operation with Google gave the firm a new lease of life in mobile.

Google and HTC are close partners: the search giant's team used HTC phones when they were developing Android. Initially Android looked like a dud, but it now outsells all its competitors combined in the US. Next up is the tablet, where Google is also keen to make its mark. "I think we are just at the beginning for innovation in the tablet market," says Wang.

Graham Stapleton, chief commercial officer for Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy, said the retailer had seen enormous growth in HTC sales in recent months. "Their customer traditionally has been more of a business/professional user. In the last 12-18 months they've targeted more of the pioneering customers, people who want the latest technology."

He said HTC was becoming a brand people asked for unprompted. "That's a huge change. They've done an incredible job over the last 18 months."

It hasn't gone unnoticed. HTC and Apple are now locked in a patent spat, with each side accusing the other of ripping it off. Milanesi says that's the price of success. "Can Apple go after Google? No, they don't make phones. They will go after who they can go after," she says.

It's probably the biggest compliment Apple is ever likely to pay them.

World's smallest PC can fit into your eyes

LONDON: Scientists have created what they claim is the world's smallest computer system that is just one square millimetre in size and can fit into one's eyeball.

Developed by a team at the University of Michigan, the unnamed tiny device is a pressure monitor that can be implanted in a person's eye to treat glaucoma.

It may be just one square millimetre in size but it packs a hefty punch, containing an ultra low-power microprocessor, a pressure sensor, memory and a thin film battery, the Daily Mail reported.

It also has a solar cell and a wireless radio with an antenna that can transmit data to an external reader device, the researchers said.

The device is already being touted as the future of the computing industry, although it needs several more years to be commercially available.

Its creators -- Professors Dennis Sylvester, David Blaauw and David Wentzloff -- claim that as the device's radio needs no tuning to find the right frequency it could link to a wireless network of computers.

A network of such units could one day track pollution, monitor structural integrity, perform surveillance, or make virtually any object smart and trackable, the scientists said.

Professor Sylvester said: "When you get smaller than hand-held devices, you turn to these monitoring devices.

"The next big challenge is to achieve millimetre-scale systems, which have a host of new applications for monitoring our bodies, our environment and our buildings.

"Because they're so small, you could manufacture hundreds of thousands on one wafer.

"There could be tens to hundreds of them per person and it's this per capita increase that fuels the semi-conductor industry's growth."

Currently, the system is a pressure monitor designed to be implanted in the eye to continuously track the progress of glaucoma, a potentially blinding disease, they said.

The processor in the eye pressure monitor is the third generation of the researchers' Phoenix chip, which uses a unique design and an extreme sleep mode to achieve ultra-low power consumption.

The newest system wakes every 15 minutes to take measurements and consumes an average of 5.3 nanowatts.

To keep the battery charged, it requires exposure to ten hours of indoor light each day or 1.5 hours of sunlight. It can store up to a week's worth of information.

While this system is miniscule and complete, its radio doesn't equip it to talk to other similar devices, which is an important feature for any system targetted towards wireless sensor networks.

But, the researchers are confident their miniature device will take off. "The applications for systems of this size are endless," they added.
